Was in town for the St George Painters Half Marathon in January and ate a nice filling post race meal at the Egg and I. I wasn't aware it was a chain until I looked at the advertising in the restaurant. It gives the impression its a nice one off local establishment. They only serve Breakfast and Lunch which could be expected of a place with the type of menu they have. I had the Cordon Blue Skillet which was a pretty great plate of food. Its wasn't very well spelled out on the menu how the skillet was put together but I should have had an idea it would have all been thrown together as most skillets are. The skillet had ham, chicken, swiss cheese, diced potatoes, two eggs and then they covered it all with hollandaise sauce. The portion size was good but I'm not sure if it couldn't have been larger for 8.70 or if the plate could have just cost a dollar less. It was served with 2 pieces of wheat toast and they had jam on the table. It would have been nice to see something nicer than Waffle House grade Smuckers Jam packets on the table but I'll let it slide. I also ordered an iced tea with the meal and it was a nice touch they served the tea glass with a full carafe of tea too. It was fresh brewed and not the often served Utah curse of Nestea from the fountain. BUT, it was $2.30 for the tea. These over 2 dollar drinks are getting to be ridiculous in the table service segment. Everyone is pushing the limit on how much they can charge. I get you want to lower your food cost percentage but I probably would order water next time due to the exorbitant cost of the drink. Overall it was a great breakfast meal and was better than something from Denny's or IHOP. It wasn't nearly as good of a value but you can always expect the other diner breakfast places to beat the smaller guys on price. I'd recommend it to anyone in the St George area looking for a good breakfast joint.

My favorite breakfast place. Everything I have ever had is fantastic. Prices are moderate. Service is good.

  • Justin M.

I was expecting a lot more when I went to the place. But Overall it is a step above Denny's or I-Hop and as far as breakfast food probably the best you will get for breakfast food. Similar food to a classy Hotel breakfast in a Denny's atmosphere. Service was not so great, just average.

The Egg and I has a huge menu, so everyone should be able to find something they like. Our breakfasts were tasty and both huge. Could only eat half of it. There is wi-fi, so ask your waiter for the password. The only downside was, it was packed. Took us about 20 minutes to be seated. It was a weekday morning, but during spring break, so not sure if that is normal.

Good omelets - awesome ranch potatoes!

Traditional breakfast fare... Nothing unique. Ok food.

The food was great. The servers did their job. Management was friendly. There was a bit of a wait for the food but I just chalk that up to it being busy on a Sunday morning. The classical music playing in the background was a nice touch as well

Very tasty. All 4 of us really enjoyed the food great flavor. Large portions. Friendly service.

This restaurant was good. The pancakes are large, and 1 was more than enough for me. I got a very basic breakfast plate with 1 pancake, 2 eggs and 2 sausage patties, but I really liked the pancakes. They were soft and fluffy and made with whole wheat, which at least makes you FEEL healthier! One of my friends got a waffle with whipped cream, strawberries and bananas on top and it was amazing!! Another friend got French Toast and loved it. It was a Saturday morning and we got right in at 10am. Don't go in there expecting too much, after all it is just a regular breakfast joint! But I would definitely recommend it.

Always great food and service. Very clean. They even wash off the menus daily!

Deliciousness abounds at this cute yet spacious breakfast joint. Having sampled another local establishment earlier in the week, we found The Egg and I to have superior food and a daunting selection of menu items. After some serious agonizing we finally managed to settle on the Hiker's Benedict and the breakfast burrito, and were not disappointed. Their portions are generous, their ingredients fresh and tasty, and the dill hollandaise sauce to-die-for. The prices were very reasonable and the service chipper, friendly, generous and knowledgable. Overall, an excellent breakfast eggsperience! (I had to! :) We'll be back!

Went today for an IM carb load. The waitress was excellent and the food great. It wasn't very busy as we were there early but I definitely recommend as it is a step up from Denny's where the fruit is not that fresh etc.

Being from Las Vegas I expected this to be as good as the Egg and I there. It wasn't. This location is part of the chain and its food shows the chain influence. It is a small cut above Denny's or IHOP but only a little. Typical fare with a strong trending toward covering anything that could possibly be covered with hollandaise sauce. Average American food overall. Not bad but not great either. Service was ok.

Was seated immediately. Service was good overall. The food was great. The price was little higher than I thought it would be.

Great food and excellent service. Wide variety including both breakfast and lunch items. One of the few restaurants open in St. George on Sunday morning.

My husband and I ate breakfast here last week. The food was very good but the service was horrible. We waited over 40 minutes for our food to be served (Our waiter went MIA for a while and he left it to another server to bring out the food). Other folks had come in and finished their meal while we were waiting for our breakfast. I would eat here again, but would insist on another server.

If you have experienced the Egg and I in Las Vegas, you will be dissappointed by it's sister in St. George. I have never had corned beef, like I have tried at the Egg and I in Las Vegas. Thinking I would get the same thing in Utah, well, I was let down. First the hospitality at the Egg and I in St. George is far and few. The staff is not very friendly and I think we saw our actual waiter twice. I questioned the bill since my parents are senior citizens and it stated on the wall that all seniors recieve a 10% discount. The staff said I was suppose to ask before the bill had been added up. Which I did. If you want a mean corned beef hash and some of the friendliest service in the state, go 2 hours south to the Las Veags branch. You won't be sad! My parents say the "Bear Claw" in St. George is better.

So I have gone to the Egg and I a few times with friends (their choice, not mine), so I have had ample opportunities to sample menu items. We always go for breakfast, so I can not comment on the lunch fare. I ordered a veggie egg white omelette with no cheese (to save on calories) and no mushrooms. It came out with oil pooling all over my "healthy" egg white omelette and they had added the mushrooms. Blegck! The hot chocolate is like drinking straight syrup. The service today when I took my 3 children was terrible! Our waitress took our order, brought drinks and then went mia...we never saw her again. Someone from the back FINALLY brought out our food. My daughters was cooked wrong and we couldn't get anyones attention to take it back. My son went without a drink for his whole meal because no one came to refill drinks. When we were done I had to go find someone in the back to get our ticket so I could pay. Awful, awful, awful! The service is terrible, and if you are health conscious at all there are no options.

We are new in town Hope to find a good place Where we could enjoy a morning breakfast. Never thought to find it in The egg and I. The food is absolutely delicious. The waitstaff is courteous.

This visit answered a lot of questions I had about this chain in other cities. One was whether or not it was a great option for being on the road. That is definitely a no, but it is AN option. Food quality was more or less the same level as Salt Lake, though I'd lean towards the higher end of breakfast places with The Egg & I overall. Definitely beats IHOP & Denny's, but not up to The Original Pancake House. Technique here is a bit hit or miss. Waitress seemed to want me to throw down on over-medium eggs for the Hiker's Benedict (same as I had in Salt Lake), so I did. It was just barely into over-easy, so I guess that's mostly a win, though they missed over-medium by quite a bit. Flavor was only so-so, which is also what I'd expect from a kitchen at that level. Coke Zero mix was also slightly funky. Service was overall solid and the speed of getting the food was pretty decent as well. Very solid, middle of the road, nothing too out of the way on either side of the spectrum, neither particularly good nor bad.

It is the best breakfast place I've ever eaten at. I love it so much. Benedicts are to die for, and the cordon bleu skillet is AMAZING. The general manager is a clean freak so even the picture frames get dusted once a week. Adorable outdoor seating area and service is usually above average. I worked here for a few years and it is hands down the best food I've been around. The waits look longer than they are. The staff usually gets you in under or at the expected time. If you see a big crowd outside don't be afraid of the wait, it's probably a huge Mormon family or something. If you have 2-4 in your party you should be fine.

Great spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch. We enjoyed biscuits and gravy (fluffy biscuits, creamy gravy with actual chunks of sausage), veggie Benedict (fresh and well prepared), and a fabulous Acupolco egg white omelet. Service was quick and attentive; food was fresh and properly cooked; portions huge. A great choice.

Visiting at. George for New Years, this morning we stopped in for breakfast, and overall it was a really good breakfast spot. Even though they were busy, they worked hard to get everyone seated our wait was a lot shorter than I expected. Our server was friendly, and took our order right after we were seated since we had time to pick out our meals while in the lobby m. The food arrived in a timely manner. The only areas of improvement, our server didn't come by shortly after we received our meal to see if we were missing anything, or needed anything. I would have ordered an extra tortilla since the one I got was really small. The server didn't check back for refills at all, which kind of sucked. Tip for the cook on the Mexican skillet: more potatoes than beans please. Otherwise it was super super delicious! Comments about the food: TASTY! My husband had the Persian Benedict I tried it. It was so tasty. My 8 year old had the strawberry banana waffles, he said it was the best breakfast he ever had. My daughter who's 5 said: mom this food keeps making me more hungry I can't stop eating.

Perfect place to stop on the way to or from Vegas to Zion. Food and service were top notch. Coffee and hot chocolate are awesome. Get the corned beef hash well done.

After a disappointing experience at Black Bear Diner, I stayed up, and visited this spot bright and early in the morning. I walked in at 7:00AM, was greeted after only a minute or two, and was seated. The waitress was friendly and helpful, and gave me time to review their menu. Once I put it down, it was only a few minutes more before she came by. The place was fairly empty, but nonetheless, I consider that exceptional service. Another reviewer had mentioned Sunrise Chile Rellenos, and their description sounded divine. After reading about them on the menu, I ordered them, along with a temporarily-offered iced mint green tea to drink. A peaceful wait later, the tea came, and then, the dish. It was perfection. The ranch-seasoned potatoes were perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and never unpleasant. The eggs themselves were wonderful. Wrapped around fresh, flavorful chiles, these eggs were soft and moist, yet not runny--and the cheese they were buried in was beautifully melted. I didn't mind the lettuce shreds so much, and I understood what they added to the overall flavor. The dollop of sour cream, too, was an excellent complement. Oh, and their in-house red jalapeno sauce had a great flavor. I didn't use much of it on my dish, but I just wanted to sample it; I then wound up buying a bottle to take home. In the end, I took half of the dish home--simply because it was so good, I had to share it with my fiancée. I wish they were open longer--I'm normally asleep when they're open, and I can't wait to go again!

"Well, sorry buddy, you should've thought of that when you were eating cheese omelet's and sausages for breakfast every morning for the last thirty years." - Kramer, Seinfeld Our 1st stop in the beautiful state of Utah on our western roadtrip. Clean, quick service. Fairly solid/standard breakfast fare. Very attentive staff and bottomless coffee cup. Hot sauce was refrigerated, came to the table cold - LOVE that. Good option for those taking the drive up to Salt Lake City or heading to Zion National Park.

Went for breakfast and it was great. Good size portions and great variety of food. Huevos rancheros were excellent. Liked how they left a carafe of water and the pot of coffee on our table. There was a long wait but the staff was nice and the food was worth the wait.

This was mine and my husbands first time eating here and I was really impressed. My husband got the texas skillet and I have never seen him eat a meal so fast that is how much he loved it. I got the crab cake eggs benedict and it was amazing. The crab cake tasted so fresh, like the crab had just been caught in the sea. Our waitress was amazing. She was really nice and helpful with giving us some ideas of what to order. I will definitely keep coming back here and I will ask for her every time.

I ate here for an early lunch today on my way up to do some hiking in Zion. As I went in by myself they left me standing there for a while before they would get me a table (it was 3/4 empty) and that should have been a hint. I ordered their egg sandwich which in all my life has to be the worst egg sandwich I've ever tasted. First off, half of it was some nasty salad dressing/mayo that they seem to have applied by the tablespoon. Then the eggs were overdone and miniature, with tomatoes that were half green and I never could quite discern if the cheese had melted into the mayo or if they simply forgot the cheese altogether. . My waitress was good at some points but then would just up and disappear for twenty minutes (it took forever to get the check and then she never took my money or told me to go to the front). Based on both service and food quality, I suggest against going to this restaurant.

This place was good. The potatoes were absolutely awful, I would avoid them at all costs. Everything else was good though. What bothered me about this place was that my husband and I came on a weekday before work. We asked right off the bat if that had wifi because my husband needed to take care of some important work emails that came up on our way there. Yet while he was working, the entire staff kept giving us rude stares and towards the end were making us feel super rushed. Why offer free wifi if you don't want people to stick around to use it??????? Makes no sense to me.

This is a good, solid, breakfast joint. They cook your eggs the way you ask them to. I know that sounds like basic breakfast 101, but many places can't seem to get it right. They use fresh ingredients and the service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is kept clean and inviting. You really can't go wrong grabbing breakfast and a cup o' java here.

  • Larry B.

Service was good, although a bit slow. Breakfast was better than most we have had in the area. The poached eggs were properly prepared and the pineapple pancake with cream was quite good.

Good and fast. We had the Mexican Skillet and a Belgian Waffle and egg plate. All items were tasty. Waited for just 5 minutes. Nothing amazing, but good.

  • Manuel Y.

Really like this place! Such a friendly wait staff makes the food taste even better. The waffles are crisp and malty, the pancakes are huge and the omelette are so perfectly cooked. The coffee is hot and brought in a thermos pot to every table so you do not run out! They also serve real 1/2 & 1/2! Why only 4 stars? They charge extra for egg whites and do not have hash browns.

    (4)
  • Stephanie J.

I toy between 2-3 stars. 3 stars won. It was a close battle. The Egg and I is ok. It is not great, it is bad. It is ok. They do breakfast and lunch, and they know what they are doing for the most part. We were told the wait would be 10 minutes, it was more like 20, but it was brunch time, so I can forgive it. What was hard for me to overlook was that it took a very long time for us to see our server. What was impossible for me to overlook was that our poached eggs were WAY overcooked. The restaurant itself is pleasantly clean. In fact in the middle of breakfast one of the staff even vacuumed. I have mixed feelings about that. While I applaud the vigor of keeping the floors well maintained, I am a big fan of eating my breakfast in peace and quiet. The staff were all nice, but not overly friendly. The restrooms were well maintained. Where this place fell short for our party was the food. For a place that has 'egg' in the title, the eggs should be done right. I ordered the crab cake Benedict. It comes with English muffin and potatoes. The Hollandaise sauce was creamy and alright, but the eggs were cooked clean through so the yolks were solid. I ate around them. I should have sent them back but we were on a time crunch with the wait and needed to head out instead of waiting for replacement food. I wondered if my eggs were a fluke being overcooked, but my companion also had Benedict eggs and hers were solid as well. The man at the next table also had similar eggs. My potatoes were soggy but flavorful. So overall I would say Meh ... I've had better but it was ok.

    (3)
  • John V.

I wouldn't go back. The eggs were over cooked, bacon was small but tasty, potatoes were awful. Everything very greasy except the bacon. I had to try it, I thought it would be great. How can you screw up breakfast potatoes so bad?

    (2)
  • Cat V.

My new favorite diner in St. George. Was going to Black Bear and Dennys but Egg and I is by far the best. You get your own carafe of coffee--they have bold, hazelnut and regular. The choices are awesome and prices are reasonable.

  • Dream L.

This place is pretty tasteful. The blueberry pancake is the best! Very soft and lite, you can tell they use fresh blueberries, super yummy. The blueberry sauce is also really good. I also had the Eggs Benedict, it wasn't the best I've had but I liked it and I would order it again, thw ranch potatoes were very very good! Sonia was my waitress and She was very friendly. The hostes wasn't the best, She jus came across as sarcastic, but other than that the food was tasty, the service is fast

You know the days when you wake up hungry, definitely want to eat a good meal, but don't necessary feel like breakfast. Perhaps you eat at 10:00 or 10:30 so it's a little early for lunch but you still don't feel like breakfast. Well, that was the mood I found myself in the other day when we showed up at Eggs & I. To remedy the situation, I decided on the Texas Skillet - what seemed to be a good combination of lunch (steak rather than bacon or sausage) and breakfast (eggs). A good decision indeed. The skillet was full of steak strips, roasted peppers and onions, mushrooms, potatoes with melted cheese, and topped with two eggs - tasty. Top it with the house jalapeño hot sauce and it was downright delicious. My wife really enjoyed her Colorado Jack Scramble too. The décor was a bit lame but the service was top notch. I think I just found my new favorite breakfast spot in St. George.

  • Christopher B.

We needed a breakfast spot on our way to Zion from Vegas and this seemed to be a good option. It's a bit off the highway but worth the trip over. It's in a stripmall sort of out of sight but not impossible to find. I ordered the eggs benedict but I always have the sauce on the side because I don't like too much of it on my eggs. The sauce was really good, which is obviously key, and the dish itself was good. The coffee was excellent, too. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food and coffee. The service was fine. I would come back if I were in the area again!

  • Mark B.

I was impressed with the Egg and I. They took a unique angle on eggs and pancakes with recipes you won't just find at your next IHOP. Flavors were good, my one complaint is that it was overly crowded and just to pay and get out, took about 10 minutes after we got in line. Though to their credit, I think the cashier was having technical difficulties as well.

  • Natalie W.

Really good food, friendly staff and nice environment. This is the second time we've stopped here to eat on our way thru St. George. Enjoyed our meals both times. There are vegetarian options on the menu and they have fresh squeezed orange juice.

It was my first time at The Egg and I ,I tried the Greek Omelet breakfast, It had more Italian Flavor to it than Greek, It tasted ok ,I could not finish half of the omelet because it was too greasy and oily! and the Omelet did not look like omelet you can look at the pic I took. The service was very good and friendly . I think I will try it again and give updated review in the future.

I was very impressed with the quality of the food! We had a party of 5 and we were sat at a group table after a very brief wait. The room that we sat in had poor acoustics and made for very distracting ambient noise. But all of thy was forgotten when our delicious food arrived. All 5 dishes had eggs cooked perfectly! We couldn't imagine their trick for such fluffy and light eggs. The ranch potatoes were an added bonus for the meal.

This place is a standby when we visit St. George. Above average breakfast, always delivers on taste and quality. Service is usually excellent but wait time can be long. The eggs Benedict dishes and their skillets are fabulous. They have a great Mexican breakfast selection, as well as healthy options. Pancakes are made with whole wheat and still delicious. There's something for everyone here. I've never had a disappointing dish.

Pretty good food and good service. The pumpkin waffles (limited time only) were excellent. My wife had the eggs Benedict which were decent but nothing to write home about and the eggs originally came out with solid yolks, but they quickly replaced them. The ranch potatoes were really good.

Better than I expected for a small, local restaurant. After a 3 hour hike, my husband and I were starving, ready for any kind of food really. We chose The Egg and I because it was close and had good ratings on Yelp. As we were seated, a bubbly, kind waiter took our order and offered substitutions to fit our needs, very accommodating. I ordered the corned beef hash (which came with creamy hollandaise -yum) and my substituted fruit. Coffee and water remained full throughout our stay. Upon finishing, we were pleasantly surprised upon the price (very reasonable) and The Egg and I's very own Hot Sauce! We ordered two to go and left with a smile on our faces. I can't wait to cook my own hash with Utah hot sauce!

They changed their menu and many of the good items have been removed. We waited a half hour for a very bad chicken and avocado sandwich. Would not recommend it for lunch, stick to breakfast. Hard to screw up an egg.

Last breakfast stop on a long road-trip to Wisconsin, so it seemed fitting that I ordered the Wisconsin Scramble with sausage. It was fantastic! The flavor was very subtle but it's an egg dish so that is definitely okay. The American gravy (ketchup) was in standby but never needed and for me that is big. Service was speedy and friendly so definitely different than a lot of the reviews previous. Love getting coffee pots set at the table for speedy refills. Overall, worth the stop if you are looking for a good breakfast.

I came here with my sister for breakfast. She got the Berry-Ola oatmeal which was filling and tasty. The berries kind of melted into the oatmeal. It was scrumptious. I had a half-Cobb salad and a half-Reuben. I thought the salad could have used more bacon, avocado and egg. Way too much lettuce for the amount of toppings provided, in my taste. Also, the Reuben was very saucy. I personally don't like that, but others might. The service was very friendly, and the aesthetics- lots of large windows, lots of space- made the stay even better.

It's the little things that move beyond average for a breakfast place. Raisin French Toast that comes with cinnamon butter. Service that feels just like people being nice. We loved this place so much on our way through town that we planned a return visit on our way back. The reward was not just great food - we got to watch a family of 5 arrive 3 minutes before closing on a Saturday, and be treated as if they were the first guests of the day by a staff that seemed genuinely happy to have them here. Hooray for everyone at Egg and I. Great job.

Visiting St George from Sunny Southern California. I ADORE the Sunrise Chile Rellenos!!! Menu description: Whole roasted green chile strips filled with melted Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese folded inside lightly cooked whipped eggs. Topped with salsa or pork green chili, melted cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream and green onions. I requested both salsa and pork green chili. Stick to the green chili!! It is fabulous! The tomato salsa was just okay, but didn't deter me from scarfing them down. Little dab of sour cream was perfect. The iceberg lettuce was interesting. I would probably request the Rellenos without the lettuce next time. Fluffy-eggy, gooey cheese and mellow green chilies. YUM!! Ingredients in our plates are super fresh and not overly processed. Service was good. Friendly and attentive, but we were maybe one of eight(?) tables being served on a Tuesday morning. My local friend shared that she and her mom frequent Egg and I and extremely enjoy their food. I am willing to drive from Los Angeles to have breakfast here again. BTW, this restaurant is in no way affiliated with the Las Vegas Egg & I store. Happen to share the same name.

Delcious scrambles, French toast and loaded potatoes. Service for our group of 15 was friendly and quick. Worth the wait on a busy holiday weekend. Everyone enjoyed their food, one rating it higher than The Bear Paw.

I liked this place, my favorite part was the prices! Those were incredible! I ordered the eggs Benedict, it was okay.. Not enough sauce, wasn't very hot.. There Carmel coffee was yummy! My mom ordered the apple, cranberry sandwich and soup.. It was pretty good.. Nothing special.. Kinda cafeteria.. But service was good! I'd like to discover a few other restaurants before going back.,

I've eaten at better "Egg and I" in Denver and Las Vegas. Service was ok. I ordered a basic breakfast with bacon. I took a few bites of my bacon and noticed something tasted strange. When I saw the server I told her the bacon tasted 'off'. Her reply was that nobody else had complained about the bacon and it all came from the same package. Later that day at home I became violently ill with nausea and diarrhea. I tried calling the restaurant to let them know, but when I asked to speak to a manager they put me on hold for 5 minutes till I eventually hung up. Next time I am in St George I will go to a local breakfast place like George's or Tiffany's like my friends from there had recommended.

Good food and friendly service. We had breakfast here when we were visiting South Utah and we enjoyed it. It's not necessarily somewhere I would go out of my way to visit, but it is somewhere I would go back to if I were in the area.

The selection of items is great. The prices are moderate...looking at 10-15$ / plate. Gigi is a sweetheart. Ask for her if you can. The service is incredibly slow. Don't let people fool you by saying that it's only slow when it's busy...it wasn't busy at all. Now to the food... The food tasted great and was brought in a surprisingly fast manner.

Excellent service and food. Portions were large and the food was delicious. Two people in my party were splitting a breakfast and the waitress brought out their meal divided into two plates! Little details like this make this place a 5 star. If you are in this area looking for breakfast then make sure you stop here.

Never had a bad visit, I love the Eggs Benedict! Always busy but the service is excellent. You always get a smile from everyone even the busser. I highly recommend it if you want a great breakfast or lunch.

We normally go to The Egg and I on Sahara Blvd. when we are in Vegas. It's our favorite breakfast spot. We were on a road trip to Washington so on our way home we tried this Egg and I in St. George. The menus vary at each franchise. I ordered the Parisienne Benedict which is not on the Vegas menu. It was delicious! I loved the shaved ham on the toasted croissant! The portabella mushroom and Swiss afford another level of flavor. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise was stellar. Ranch potatoes and the carafe of well brewed coffee completed the breakfast. Wait staff was very friendly, we were seated immediately and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food! Next trip we may try the one in Mesquite, NV just to compare! You can't go wrong trying this place for breakfast. The Sahara Blvd. location has a slight edge over St. George because they make most delicious banana bran muffins known to man!

Excellent food, excellent service! Having just moved to the St George area we are thrilled to finally have found an awesome place for breakfast. Don't miss the loaded ranch potatoes.

Yummy! This place was a breakfast gold mine! We arrived just before the crowds hit today - I thought they were closed because there was no line. Portions are large and presented well. Service is very good. The food is well cooked and quite tasty. The children's menu offers a wide variety of choices and good portions. My daughter had the plain ole' pancake and it encompassed her entire plate. The cake was lightly sweet and very tasty. My husband had the Mediterranean Frittata and I got the Egg-ceptional Omelet with egg whites. Both were quite good. We are adding this one to our list of favorites.

Lunch is tasty. Breakfast is ok Would recommend avoiding the biscuits and sausage gravy because the biscuit is boring and gravy is vile paste. Service was attentive but a bit too folksy, familiar for my preference.

The food is pretty good of you order the right thing, the service is not so good. All the waitresses we've ever had don't seem very happy to be there. I'd recommend the hash browns, the French toast and most all of their pancakes. Interestingly enough their egg items aren't very good.

Best breakfast in st George. I always get either the French toast, pancakes or granola/oatmeal, and it's all really good.

Went here while on vacation and I really like it !! I went in by myself for breakfast around 11:30 on a weekday and was seated right away. I ordered the Cambridge : It was brought out to me in about 5 minutes - super fast !! I ordered coffee and they bring you your own personal thermos that holds at least 2 full cups in it. The breakfast was very good and my only complaint would be that my english muffing was rock hard. Seemed like it may have already been toasted then re-heated. I had some of the "Egg & I" hot sauce with my eggs and it also was really good. I would go back here anytime.

In short: Love the food, the service could be better. I have to admit, I love the food, there's a big variety and I've never been disappointed. It's another St. George favorite though so on the weekends, if you're not there early, be prepared to wait. For those that drink coffee, their specialty flavored coffees are pretty good. The problem that we had was that every time we've gone (which is 4+ times now), the service is always extremely slow. Not sure if this is just slowness or due to how incredibly busy they get. But if you don't mind waving down your waitress every now and again for refills, then you're A-OK! Go for the food, try to disregard the service.
